What to expect · overall:

  • individualised coaching in a small group (10 max): to experience an enjoyable immersive & efficient session

  • collective warm-ups, conditionning, cool-downs & occasional paired work

  • a gorgeous & fully equipped gym space at The Movement Studio (changing area available)

  • ample time to lunch, chat & digest onsite before diving back in

Handstands · Improve through strength and mobility

The session includes:

  • handbalancing-specific warm-up including joint preparation and conditioning focused on shoulder alignement, strength and mobility for efficient and sustainable training habits

  • a selection of foundational exercises from complete beginner to a solid free-standing two-arm handstand, various entries, bailing, shape-changing, press work and one-arm handstand preparation work

  • the content will be adapted to the goals & needs specific to the group (mixed levels)

  • a jam to explore/play/exchange

  • a Q&A session at the end about all things training, programming etc

Requisites:

Although this course is open to complete beginners, each participant is required to be able to do the following exercise to ensure they will benefit from the course:

  • a comfortable plank hold (the start of a push-up position) for 30 seconds.

Flexibility · Pancake, Middle & Standing Side Tilt Splits

The session includes:

  • Warm-up including joint preparation and conditioning for the lower body

  • Active & strength-based flexibility techniques to solidify & increase range of motion and prepare for sustainable splits training

  • A structured sequence targeting hip flexors, glutes, hamstrings & introducing the fundamentals of Active & Strength-based Flexibility training

  • Peak positions: Seated Pancake & Standing Side Tilt Splits. Please note that this course will offer variations appropriate & accessible for everyone.

  • No requisites.
